Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 departed for Operation Bearing Duel, a field training exercise (FTX), Feb. 12, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Stennis Space Center in Hancock County, Mississippi.
The crew of the Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine USS Olympia (SSN 717) welcomed First Lady Akie Abe, the wife of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, during a tour of the submarine Feb. 12.
