The DuPont Challenge Elementary Division: Submissions Due March 1
K–5 teachers—don't miss your chance to participate in The DuPont Challenge Elementary Division. Help your students develop a better understanding of and passion for STEM in a classroom-based challenge that gives students the chance to participate in a creative, inquiry-based exploration. Each grade level has its own specific instructions and suggestions for challenge topics. Students are asked to research, observe, and analyze a real-world issue, and then together write a science story about what they discovered. More than $50,000 in prizes are awarded to the winning students, teachers, and schools. Learn more about the competition here. The deadline for entries is March 1.

Principals, curriculum leaders, science and STEM leaders, and district leaders—anyone who provides instructional coaching for STEM educators—are invited to take advantage of the Chevron-sponsored NSTA District Administrator Workshop in Chicago (part of the NSTA National Conference on Science Education) on Thursday, March 12, from 1 to 5 pm.
