In the Digest this month several authors report on crisis and risk communication (Austin, et al.; Paul, et al.; Sutton, et al.; van der Meer, et al.). Health communication campaigns and/or interventions are the focus of many writers (Fallin, et al.; Harrington, et al.; James, et al.; Kim, et al.; Lu, et al.; Soetens, et al.; Stice, et al.). Health message design factors are studied and discussed by numerous researchers (Cohen, et al.; Frank, et al.; James, et al.; Hether; Kamal, et al.; Nabi; Okeefe; Savage, et al.; Willis; Ybara, et al.; Yzer, et al.). And, perspectives on health communication research and evaluation (Hesse, et al.; Kreps; Neuhauser & Kreps) and health literacy (Pleasant) are also detailed.
