Harrison Ford Seriously Injured in Plane Crash

A Delta flight with 132 on board skidded off the runway, slammed through a fence and stopped just feet from the water in the middle of a snow storm at New York's LaGuardia Airport. The runway had been plowed just before the accident, but snow was falling. Air traffic controllers expressed surprise when ground crews radioed, "Tower, you have an aircraft off the runway."

Actor Harrison Ford was seriously injured today after a vintage World War II training plane he was piloting crash landed on a Mar Vista, California, golf course. The 72-year-old actor was stabilized and transported to UCLA Medical Center. Sources said he sustained cuts to the head.
