BREAKING NEWS: U.S. Economy Adds 252,000 Jobs in December

The U.S. economy added 252,000 jobs in December, outpacing the 240,000 jobs Wall Street expected. The unemployment rate for the month came in at 5.6%, its lowest rate since June 2008, a tick lower from the 5.7% expected. Meanwhile, the labor force participation rate fell to 62.7%, the lowest level since September 2008, from 62.9% in November.
