1. Unleashing innovation in the enterprise

You'll often hear that enterprises are poor at innovation, bad at product development, and unresponsive to business change. Why do they get so much wrong? Barry O'Reilly, coauthor of Lean Enterprise, answers the question and explains exactly what enterprise organizations need to do to create a culture of innovation. From a strong executive mandate to finding and empowering talent, the answers are here.

Looking for additional Lean techniques for the enterprise? Join Barry O'Reilly's webcast on March 25 at 10am PDT.

2. How slow is slow?

Is Google's new "slow" label the scarlet letter of the Web? Perhaps it's not intended to shame but, as Tammy Everts points out, given that mobile performance is a huge priority for Google, this label isn't a trivial feature. In fact, she suggests that the "slow" label could revolutionize how we tackle web performance.

4. Did you say "m-commerce"?

There's no doubt that the m-revolution is coming. If entrepreneur Jesse Pujji'sprediction is right, 2015 will be the year of global mobile ecommerce (or m-commerce). And social companies like Facebook and Twitter may lead the way, he says.

No need to be caught unprepared. Anuj Nayar covers what retailers need to do tothrive in this new age. And one area where mobile is becoming increasingly important—surpassing all others—is groceries.

6. Eradicating the human problem

It sounds like something the Robot Overlords would discuss, but it's not quite as sinister. Laura Bell, security expert and keynote speaker at Velocity, explains how humans are one of the more unpredictable factors in security. Bell shares her thinking on this and other security topics in a new interview with Jason Yee.

7. Cloud hosting and the future of lock-in

Whether code-level or architectural, lock-in is a key concern when choosing a cloud hosting service. Flo Motlik looks at lock-in scenarios and what's involved in changing providers.

8. Do you have enough cats?

You're already doing a lot to ensure that your audience has a great video experience, but is it enough? Jason Thibeault offers a list of 17 things you probably aren't doing that would easily make the experience even better (and more profitable).

9. Share responsibly

Social share scripts are convenient and easy to copy and paste, but they rely on JavaScript and add overhead to your site, which means more HTTP requests and slower load times. Jonathan Suh suggests using share links that don't require you to load scripts for each social site.
