Ebola Scare Inside the CDC 
The head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said tonight he is “troubled” and wants a ”full investigation” as to how one of its workers, and possibly more, could have been exposed to the deadly Ebola virus on Monday. Scientists researching the virus mistakenly sent a sample from one lab to another.

Sony Streams ‘The Interview’ 
Fans are getting their first look at “The Interview” after Sony’s surprise move today to release it online. It’s been in the works for a week and adds to the hundreds of movie theaters showing it tomorrow. Ticket sales for the movie that sparked an international incident are brisk and theater owners aware of the hackers’ vague threats will have extra security in place.

Deadly Tornado Hits Mississippi 
A rare December tornado killed four, injured many and damaged or destroyed 100 homes and businesses in Mississippi. Among the survivors is 84-year-old Martha Hall, who was about to deliver Christmas pies when a twister hit her SUV. She describes the harrowing experience and devastation of losing her home, but said there is some joy this holiday — her life was spared.

Missouri Police Shooting 
There are renewed calls for calm in Missouri after last night’s deadly police shooting sparked a protest, in a community still reeling from Ferguson. Officials quickly released security footage of the incident showing 18-year-old Antonio Martin hold up what they say was a gun before he was shot by police. The town’s mayor said emphatically today that "this was not the same as Ferguson," but will anger and skepticism persist?

NORAD breaks from its usual job tonight for an annual holiday tradition — tracking Santa Claus. Children call volunteers with questions about how that sled travels so quickly and when St. Nick will be near their house so they can sneak a peek.
