Officials arrest 15 and search a dozen sites in a sweep overnight in Belgium and France that leaves two suspects dead after clashes with police in the Belgian city of Verviers.
The detainees are 9 men and 3 women with possible links to Amedy Coulibaly, who last week killed a policewoman before killing 4 at a kosher supermarket. Police in Berlin also make arrests.
The suspects each face one count of murdering graduate student Xinran Ji as well as a special-circumstance allegation that the killing was committed during an attempted robbery.
