When we start to examine why America is seeing declining rates of new firm formation, demographics matter a great deal. Which group of Americans is facing the biggest barriers? And which has the most potential for innovating through these volatile economic times by starting those new firms that will scale and employ large numbers? Perhaps the answer lies in co-founding across generations.
