Projects of the Month for December
For our December "Community Choice" Project of the Month the community selected SCons, a superior alternative to the make utility and autoconf build tools. SCons analyzes source code file dependencies and operating system (OS) adaptation requirements to generate a binary executable for installation on the target OS. SCons is implemented as a Python script and set of modules, and SCons "configuration files" are actually executed as Python scripts.
