Projects of the Month for December
For our December "Community Choice" Project of the Month the community selected SCons, a superior alternative to the make utility and autoconf build tools. SCons analyzes source code file dependencies and operating system (OS) adaptation requirements to generate a binary executable for installation on the target OS. SCons is implemented as a Python script and set of modules, and SCons "configuration files" are actually executed as Python scripts. This gives SCons many powerful capabilities not found in other software build tools. Download SCons now.
For our December "Staff Pick" Project of the Month we selected FreeFileSync, software that helps you synchronize files and synchronize folders for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. It is designed to save your time setting up and running backup jobs while having nice visual feedback along the way. FreeFileSync strives to provide high-quality software with zero open bugs. This is achieved by fast release cycles and free 24/7 support for everyone. Download FreeFileSync now.
