Los Angeles Times | December 4, 2014 | 1:40 PM
Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck said today that his department was prepared to investigate any accusations brought against performer Bill Cosby, including sexual assault allegations from decades ago that may be beyond the legal deadline for any prosecution. Beck said that while those cases could not be prosecuted, information collected could be used in other proceedings, including civil and criminal cases. Three women who appeared at a Los Angeles news conference Wednesday are the latest in a string of women who have publicly accused Cosby of assaulting them.
