Convicted drug dealer charged with murder of Fox executive

A convicted drug dealer was charged today with murder in the death of 20th Century Fox executive Gavin Smith, who had been missing since May 1, 2012, before his remains were discovered Oct. 26 in a shallow grave.
John Lenzie Creech was charged with one felony count of murder, according to a Los Angeles County Superior Court criminal complaint.
Authorities had been investigating Creech since February 2013, when they got a tip that Smith’s car was in a Simi Valley storage locker that was connected to Creech.
