BREAKING NEWS: U.S. Economy Adds 257,000 Jobs in January

The U.S. economy added 257,000 jobs in January, outpacing the 234,000 Wall Street expected. The unemployment rate for the month rose to 5.7% from 5.6% the month prior, while economists expected it to hold steady. Meanwhile, the labor force participation rate ticked higher to 62.9% from 62.7% the month prior.
