Quinoa is a tasty, filling, versatile, complete protein with a low glycemic index. If you're not familiar with it, you should get familiar with it! I use it as a side dish at dinner, or as pilaf for a main dish, but here's a truly novel idea — breakfast! Instead of oatmeal, I have quinoa with goat milk and a little agave for sweetness. Food for Thought
When baked, garlic becomes very sweet and spreads like butter. It's a great spread on chicken or lamb. It's delicious with grilled vegetables and it's absolutely decadent as a dip for your favorite cheese! The day after, your breath will be so pungent that everyone will know what you've been eating. But it's so delicious you won't even care.
