Credit Remains Tight for Entrepreneurs as Economic Outlook Brightens
Startup business owners are operating in an increasingly favorable entrepreneurial environment but access to credit remains a challenge, according to the third annual Kauffman Foundation/LegalZoom survey report titled "Challenges Facing New Entrepreneurs in 2014." Forty-five percent of new companies surveyed cited lack of credit access as a lingering challenge, while other business concerns have consistently diminished over the past two years.

Kauffman School by the Numbers
A new infographic displays numbers that offer an interesting look at the Ewing Marion Kauffman School's approach, teacher enrichment, demographics, and early academic results. Founded in 2011 by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the Kauffman School is a tuition-free, public charter school in Kansas City, Missouri, that offers a rigorous college-preparatory education. Enrollment forms for the school's next class of fifth-graders must be submitted by 5 p.m. CST on Wednesday, March 4.

Boomers, Millennials, and the New Age of Entrepreneurship
An Entrepreneurship Policy Digest released this week by the Kauffman Foundation suggests that baby boomers and millennials could have a positive influence on the economy if public policy helps them reach their entrepreneurial potential. The Policy Digest provides demographic data on the two biggest demographic developments in America, and features video clips of panelists from the Foundation's 2015 State of Entrepreneurship Address, who shared policy suggestions for boosting levels of entrepreneurship among these two key demographic groups.
