Hi! It's the first week of the month, so I shared my Try Something New Every Month project and had so much fun. Have you tried anything new yet this year? Are you planning to? This article "Overcoming the Resistance" by Bjork is on Food Blogger Pro but I think it's worth reading regardless of whether you blog. I appreciate anything that is well written and reminds me to just start and stop thinking/planning/Pinteresting. Shop: I'm having a hard time not buying fun new fabrics to sew itty bitty baby clothes and I love this chameleon knit from Naeh Nu on Etsy. I have expensive fabric taste. I think this "I Think I Can / I Knew I Could" print from Jill McDonald on Howkapow would be equally cute in a craft room or a nursery. See: These rainbow sand blocks from Adventure In A Box are so cool, and way simpler to make than I thought from the first picture! Check them out. I'm hustling to put our baby's nursery together and finish my son's room and am drawn to the hexagon/honeycomb shape. I love these DIY shelves from Jenna Burger Design. I tried needle felting for TSNEM this month - it was completely brand new to me but I had fun! Check out more details including the book I worked from, and if I'll do it again. Valentine's Day is next weekend and I'm sharing some fresh ideas to buy OR DIY this year. Even if you don't do Valentine's Day gifts, these ideas would be perfect for birthdays as well.
