Steam’s Black Friday game sale includes ‘thousands’ of deals available right now

Video: Apple is not done releasing funny iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus ads
After showing off the gaming and Continuity features of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in a couple of new ads featuring voice overs from Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon earlier this week, Apple on Wednesday released one more similar commercial, the seventh in the series, which highlights a different feature, voice texting, which is available on iOS 8-compatible devices.

Android Pay mobile payments solution coming soon, but not from Google
Apple’s Apple Pay mobile payment app available on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus saw huge popularity after launch, injecting new life into the NFC-based payments business. Google, and others, have included such features in Android devices for years, but they never really took off. In fact, only recently, Apple’s competitors confirmed they witnessed an increase in Android smartphone-generated transactions after Apple Pay became available on this year’s iPhones.

Samsung might have to pay even more for infringing Apple patents
Even though Samsung and Apple have settled their international patent disputes, the lawsuits in the U.S. are far from being a distant memory. Apple has largely won the two major trials in American courts, with Samsung having to pay more than $1 billion in combined damages; though both sides have appealed various verdicts in these trials. Following the second, less-successful, win against Samsung, Apple has also asked the court to rule in its favor regarding ongoing royalties for Samsung products found to infringe three specific patents that a jury already found to have been infringed by older Samsung devices.
