Learning to Ride 
Saturday is the last day to take advantage of Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month. Colorado resorts are offering special promotions and programs to make it easy for people to learn Colorado’s signature winter sports. Guests visiting Ski Country resorts in January will find package deals on rentals, lift tickets and professional instruction, and in many cases resorts will reward successful first-time learners with a complimentary season pass after completion of a multi-day lesson program. The 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, Feb. 2-15, 2015 in Vail and Beaver Creek, will showcase over 700 athletes from more than 70 nations, representing the largest and most impressive collection of ski racing talent in the world, second only to the Olympics. The event will also feature a full slate of festival activities, including free and ticketed concerts, great artistic performances, films, art exhibits and culinary events representing the best of the best this country has to offer the world.
