Video: Apple’s heartwarming new holiday ad might move you to tears
Apple amazed audiences in 2013 with an unexpectedly heartwarming holiday ad — called Misunderstood — which ended up netting the company a Creative Arts Emmy Award earlier this year for the most outstanding commercial of the year. The company on Sunday released a new commercial in time for this year’s holidays, and this time it has limited product placement, focusing instead on relationships.

Sony hackers may have stolen the newest James Bond script
Only a few days ago, the name, cast and new car to be featured in the upcoming 2015 James Bond movie were revealed to the world — the movie is supposed to hit theaters on November 9th, 2015 — but the mystery around the Spectre movie might be shed much sooner than that. Reuters says that the hackers who have hit Sony Pictures recently may have also stolen an early version of the Spectre script, which might reveal nearly everything there is to know about the upcoming movie.

Ikea just figured out how to make movie theaters even cooler
Just going to your favorite movie theater to watch a new release with your friends or family isn’t cool enough, Ikea Russia apparently believes, so the company figured out a way to significantly improve your whole movie experience. Sure, Ikea had to promote some of its furniture in the process — after all, that’s its bread and butter — but the company still managed to make movies a lot better in the kind of cinema it imagined.

This is what it’s like driving Tesla’s incredible new Model S P85D
Even people who don’t normally go crazy for cars seem to love Tesla and the company generated even more hype this past fall when it unveiled the all-wheel-drive versions of its highly acclaimed Model S line. Business Insider talked with Kevin Babineau, a contractor from Southern California who bought a Tesla Model S P85D this past fall and who says that the car more than lives up to the hype.

The smartphone world may have a new camera king… and it’s not from Apple or Samsung
Although smartphone cameras in general have shown improvement by leaps and bounds over the past year, the iPhone 6 Plus and the Galaxy Note 4 in particular were singled out by reviewers as setting new standards for smartphone picture quality in 2014. However, PhoneArena points out that a new phone from Huawei is angling to beat them both in 2015 and it’s posted some comparative pictures taken with the device to make its case.

NASA’s brilliant ‘All About That Space’ video is the best thing you’ll see today
There are many reasons to love NASA and now we have another one — its engineers apparently have a terrific sense of humor. NASA has posted a hilarious new video made by its Pathways Interns of NASA’s Johnson Space Center that promotes the wonders of space exploration to the tune of Meghan Trainor’s massive summer hit “All About That Bass.” Except instead of singing “I’m all about that bass, ’bout that bass, no treble,” the lyrics go, “I’m all about that space, ’bout that space, space travel.”

How an Apple cofounder made the epic investment blunder of a lifetime
Ron Wayne isn’t nearly as famous as Steve Jobs or Steve Wozniak but he’s nonetheless one of Apple’s three cofounders who helped the company get off the ground in the 1970s. For his work, Wayne was given a 10% stake in the company… which he sold soon after for just $800.
