This major Android 5.0 Lollipop bug has Android fans fuming
Google’s new Android 5.0 update could be the most hotly anticipated Android update yet. Similar to iOS 7 last year, Google’s Lollipop update for Android features an exciting redesign that people can’t wait to get their hands on. While Android 5.0′s user interface overhaul isn’t quite as extensive as Apple’s iOS 7 update in 2013, the new look of Material Design is beautiful and it truly modernizes Google’s mobile platform. Unfortunately, Android users who have gotten the update already have to deal with what appears to be a fairly serious and annoying bug.

Apple needs Samsung more than ever for the future iPhones and iPads
Even though Apple has reportedly tried to keep out Samsung out of its iPhone and iPad supply chain, The Korea Times seems to indicate Apple needs Samsung more than ever for future iPhone and iPad production. The publication reports that Samsung has struck a deal worth “billions of dollars” with Apple to mass-produce chips required for future-generation iPhone and iPad models.

Video: Al Franken destroys Ted Cruz for getting net neutrality ‘completely wrong’
Senator Ted Cruz last week caused quite a stir — and a lot of forehead slapping — when he described net neutrality as “Obamacare for the Internet.” CNN’s Candy Crowley on Sunday sat down with Cruz’s fellow senator Al Franken, a longtime net neutrality advocate who completely demolished Cruz’s arguments against net neutrality for being “completely wrong.”

Hackers breach State Department’s unclassified computer network
Hackers breached computers belonging to the State Department, The New York Times reports, making it the fourth attack targeting government computers in recent weeks. While it’s not clear who attacked these targets and for what purpose, the State Department, the White House, the United States Postal Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration have all reported similar breaches recently.

This strange-looking ‘Impossible’ electric bike can be easily folded into a backpack
“Impossible” is the name of a new electric bike Kickstarter project started by Impossible Technology that has almost doubled its target goal, with 41 days left to go in the campaign. The Impossible has raised over $95,000 (CAD), after seeking $55,000 in funding.

The most hilariously unfair one-star app review of all time
No matter how good your mobile app is, there will always be at least one person who will trash it with a one-star rating on the App Store, just because some people can’t help hating on things. App developer Todd Ransom, who has developed an app that maps out the areas surrounding the gorgeous waterfalls of western North Carolina, explains on Twitter that his app has gotten a one-star review for the most ridiculous possible reason: The reviewer got stung by yellow jackets while using the app.

‘Dirtbox’ planes masquerade as cell towers to collect smartphone data in sophisticated spying ops
It’s no secret anymore that governmental agencies in the U.S. and other countries have access to sophisticated tools that allow them to track and collect data from smartphones and other devices without users knowing anything is happening, and The Wall Street Journal has uncovered yet another such operation which uses a special “dirtbox” technology installed in special planes that can mimic cell phone towers and fool smartphones into believing they’re connecting to a genuine carrier tower.
