| The House passed a bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security through September, averting the possibility of a partial shutdown of the agency on Friday. The measure did not include restrictions on President Obama's executive actions on immigration included in an earlier House-passed measure that led to the passage of a stopgap spending bill to avoid a department shutdown last week. House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, told GOP members of the House this morning that he would allow a vote on the clean version of the bill previously approved by the Senate.
