DOE Publishes Notice of Public Meeting and Webinar Regarding the Appliance Standards and Rulemaking Federal Advisory Committee (ASRAC) The Department of Energy has published Federal Register notice of public meeting and webinar concerning ASRAC. 80 FR 11599 (March 4, 2015) The purpose of the meeting is to discuss formation of ASRAC working groups to negotiate proposed rules for commercial and industrial fans, commercial unitary air conditioners and warm air furnaces, and miscellaneous refrigeration products. Additional topics include other areas where ASRAC can assist the Appliance and Equipment Standards Program. Find more information on ASRAC including milestones, statutory authority, rulemaking documents, and any other related rulemakings.
