Hard Landing |
The NTSB is now reviewing the black boxes from the Delta Airlines plane that skidded off the runway in a snowstorm Thursday in New York. The aircraft, transported to a hangar, had its nose ripped off and its left fuel tank ruptured in the hard landing. Two dozen people suffered minor injuries. One passenger who watched the crash unfold from her window seat tells us she wondered in horror, "Will I ever see my kids again?" |

Harrison Ford Plane Crash |
Actor Harrison Ford was flying his vintage WWII plane and had only been in the air minutes when he reported engine failure. The 72-year-old aviator crash landed on a golf course next to the Santa Monica Airport Thursday, avoiding surrounding homes and possibly saving lives. Among the golfers who scrambled to pull Ford from the wreckage was a spinal surgeon who could offer quick medical attention. |

In the wake of a scathing federal report of police bias, Ferguson now joins more than 20 police departments the Obama administration has investigated for allegedly racist practices. From Albuquerque to Cleveland to Newark, most agree to legally binding reform plans, but the Justice Department has sued at least four jurisdictions that have resisted. MH370 Anniversary |
"Goodnight, Malaysian 370." It was the last message from Flight MH370, nearly a year ago today. Four search vessels continue to meticulously comb the South Indian Ocean for the missing aircraft and experts think they may find it. The 239 people on board the Boeing 777 were en route to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur. Among the three American passengers was James Wood. His brother Philip tells NBC's Lester Holt that without a trace of the plane found, he still has hope in his heart that his brother is alive. |

Selma Today, 50 Years Later |
Sheyann Webb says it was the most traumatic experience of her life. She was just 8 years old on Bloody Sunday, March 7th, 1965, and marching among the activists when "people had begun to be beaten down with clubs as if they weren't even human beings," she recalls. |
