Ferguson, Mo., Police Chief Resigns Following Justice Department Report

Police Chief Thomas Jackson will step down March 19. Jackson is not the first city official to leave his post in the wake of a report that accused the local police and justice system of racial bias. Both City Manager John Shaw and municipal Judge Ronald J. Brockmeyer resigned earlier this week.
There have been calls for Chief Jackson's resignation since the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown in August.
