Leak: Insider says next year’s iPhone may have a DSLR-quality camera
For many years, Apple has decided not to engage in a megapixel war with rivals when it comes to its iPhone cameras, instead deciding to improving the iPhone’s camera performance without any significant increases to image sizes. Even though the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus still have 8-megapixel sensors, their cameras are even better than previous models, and have been highly praised in reviews from professional photographers who thoroughly tested their abilities when it comes to taking pictures and recording videos. However, Apple might be planning a major update for its iPhone 6s (or iPhone 7) models next year, according to what Apple insider John Gruber said during the latest episode of The Talk Show podcast.

AT&T finally begins shipping Nexus 6 preorders
Google’s new Nexus 6 smartphone was hotly anticipated this year, and Android fans were still blown away by the powerful new Nexus phone when it was finally unveiled. Don’t buy an Apple Watch if you don’t already own an iPhone
Apple is expected to launch the Apple Watch at some point in early 2015 — some reports point to a Valentine’s Day release date, while others say the wearable device will arrive later in spring — and the company might sell as many as 40 million units in the first year, according to a recent report from Asia. But those buyers looking forward to buy an Apple Watch should also be prepared to purchase an iPhone, or other supported iOS device, in case they don’t already own one, to fully take advantage of the smartwatch.

Samsung wants to make smartphones with foldable screens next year
In addition to cutting down the total number of smartphones it’ll launch next year, Samsung also plans to launch foldable smartphones at some point in 2015, ZDNet reports. The company has already launched a couple of handsets with curved displays, including the Galaxy Round and the Galaxy Note Edge, but it’s yet to mass produce a smartphone with a flexible display that can actually be folded in half.

Virtual reality is getting better and better, with companies such as Facebook, Samsung, Google and others growing more interested in offering such entertainment options to customers in the future. But one artist is already determined to push his limits and experiment virtual reality in a completely different way — and he’s looking for your help to make it possible. Mark Farid wants to wear a VR headset for 28 days and experience life events as lived by another person. To make it possible, he needs to raise £150,000 (around $234,557) on Kickstarter in the coming month.

The iPhone 6 Plus camera has a huge problem for some users
The camera on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus has both been highly praised in many reviews, including several in-depth hands-on experiences from pro photographers. Of course, the iPhone 6 Plus is always seen as being slightly better than its smaller sibling thanks to its camera’s optical image stabilization (OIS).
