Video: Kevin Hart hilariously skewers Brooklyn hipsters in last week’s best SNL sketch
Brooklyn has been changing a lot over the years, as rising real estate values are pricing many longtime residents out of some neighborhoods, thus paving the way for wealthier people to move in. On Saturday Night Live this week, Kevin Hart, Kenan Thompson and Jay Pharoah did a hilarious sketch making fun of Brooklyn’s gentrification by showing three corner kids talking about their new-found love of artisanal mayonnaise while also relaying stories about sipping wine at art galleries and going out to fancy brunches.

Meet the smartphone that rips off Apple and Samsung in one fell swoop
Xiaomi is a China-based smartphone company that has grown to become the most valuable startup in the world by shamelessly ripping off Apple’s devices, its style and even its launch and marketing strategies. But even Xiaomi isn’t as shameless as another China-based smartphone maker called Gold-east. You’ve never heard of the company before and you’ll probably never see one of its products in person, but we had to take a moment to stand back in awe of the company’s masterful simultaneous trolling of both of the world’s top smartphone makers.

Universally hated hacker group suffers a humiliating hack of its own
While groups such as Anonymous are very controversial, they aren’t universally despised and have a huge number of fans. The same can’t be said of the Lizard Squad hacker group, however, which took down both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live late last year, and then subsequently created a tool that would let anyone in the world deliver a devastating DDoS attack to any website they wanted for $6 a pop.

Here’s why Apple’s upcoming ‘iPad Pro’ will be a failure, according to Steve Jobs
Late Apple CEO Steve Jobs will be remembered for a number of things. There is little question that he helped shaped the world as we know it today, first by pushing modern computing forward and then by leading the charge that moved computing off of our desks and laps, and into our pockets. Jobs was never afraid to speak his mind of course, and he would regularly make bold statements that promoted Apple’s products while belittling the competition. Of course, he was also known for his epic 180s, when Apple would go on to release a product that completely went against Jobs’s earlier statements. Now, it looks like that tradition will live on when Apple releases its hotly anticipated “iPad Pro” sometime later this year.

Report confirms first HTC One M9 details – and it’s launching with a huge surprise
HTC’s flagship smartphone for 2014 was one of the most impressive smartphones of the year last year, and it looks like we’re now less than two months away from seeing the debut of the company’s 2015 flagship Android handset. We reported last week that HTC had sent out invitations to a big press conference in Barcelona on March 1st ahead of the annual Mobile World Congress trade show, and we said that the company’s new HTC One M9 would likely be the star of the show. Now, a new report from Bloomberg confirms the upcoming HTC One M9 unveiling, and it suggests that HTC has a big surprise in store for us as well.

Uber driver crashes into cop car, then gets caught with weed in the glove compartment
For the past several months, Uber has been beset by significant controversy thanks to the alleged criminal behavior by some of its drivers, including multiple drivers who have been arrested for sexual assault. And late last week, an Uber driver in Minnesota further embarrassed the company after he first crashed into a police vehicle and then subsequently got caught having marijuana in the glove compartment.

Music fans will absolutely love Google’s latest search trick
If you’re someone who goes to live music shows frequently, you’re going to love what Google is doing. 9to5Google notices that Google has started adding direct links to Ticketmaster sales pages when you search for bands and venues. This means that if you search for your favorite artist on Google and they’re playing nearby in the near future, Google will give you an easy way to buy their tickets with a minimal number of clicks.

The impossible has happened: Washington has too much marijuana
Have you ever been tempted to buy your dog a truckload of steaks just to see if there was a limit to how many of them they could eat at just one sitting? Well when marijuana became legal in the state of Washington, we were similarly curious about whether there was a theoretical maximum amount of pot that its residents could smoke… and now our questions have been answered.

GoPro falls into the ocean, captures incredible footage of marine life
GoPro videos never cease to amaze us and this latest one looks like it could have come straight from National Geographic. In reality, though, this video was created when a GoPro 3+ Black Edition owner strapped the camera to a remote-controlled plane that he tried to fly over the ocean, only to see it crash into the water.

Video: The best way to crash a wedding and have everyone cheer for you at the end
After all that careful planning, stress and money spent on everything related to the one special day in your life when you finally get married, the last thing you want to deal with are wedding crashers. That appears to have been the general first reaction of some couples whose weddings have recently been abruptly interrupted by strange men with a secret agenda who showed up out of the blue and started recording everything. But things quickly took a surprising turn, which none of these couples could have seen coming.
