Ohio State beats Oregon in national title game

The Ohio State Buckeyes won the inaugural College Football Playoff national championship game with a punishing 42-20 victory over the Oregon Ducks tonight at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Despite turning the ball over four times, the Buckeyes (14-1) won with Ezekiel Elliott rushing for 246 yards and four touchdowns while third-string quarterback Cardale Jones passed for 242 yards and a score.
