The Broncos lost 24-13, 43-8, 38-35, 45-10, or perhaps it was 100-0. The score doesn't matter. The Broncos were nowhere to be found Sunday. Same old, same old. They lost as usual.
He's done. Deep in his heart, Peyton Manning must know it.


This wasn't a football game. This was a funeral. So now, an obituary. The Broncos' premature playoff exit must be followed by the termination of coach John Fox.
"We're talking about practice!" Iverson said in his widely repeated 2002 rant after he was questioned about skipping a single practice. "How silly is that?"


After a poor start, followed by maddening inconsistent play, the Avalanche is one game past the halfway mark of the NHL season and the playoffs aren't a pipe dream.
