Windows 10’s most potentially revolutionary feature
The traditional password system is due for a serious shakeup. Because so many people choose utterly boneheaded passwords that are easily hacked, websites are increasingly requiring more complex passwords that get more difficult to remember every time we change them. However, a new report from ZDNet says that a potentially revolutionary fix for this annoying problem is coming in Windows 10.

Even the cable industry’s top lobbyist thinks cable customer care is awful
Stories of woe involving people’s interactions with customer service departments at cable companies are about as rare as snow in the Northeast right now. It seems as though we can’t even go one day without hearing a new tale of terror involving some poor, unsuspecting customer’s interactions with his or her cable TV and Internet service provider. Our favorite recent examples are when Comcast tried to keep money from a rent check that an elderly woman accidentally sent in, and when another woman had to complain to Comcast’s CEO’s mother in order to get results. Now, things have taken an interesting new turn.

iOS App Store search forever changed with this awesome new tool
Let’s face it: The App Store’s app discovery functionality is terrible, mostly because it rewards apps that are already popular and doesn’t give you a lot of options for finding unheralded apps that might be better than what’s in the top downloads chart. One awesome new website is looking for change all that, however.

The most expensive Apple Watch is going to make Apple all the money
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Apple’s Watch production for the first quarter of this year is on track for 5 million units. Of that 5 million, half are expected to be the less expensive Apple Watch Sport which starts at $350, and one third are the stainless steel watch, which could sell for $500-$750, most likely. That leaves about 850,000 Apple Watch Edition pieces, the more expensive gold model. I believe the watch will sell for around $3,000 or less, though let’s assume it sells for $4,000 as The Wall Street Journal is hearing, for the purpose of this exercise. Let’s also assume a 35% margin on each Apple Watch model on average (conservative), and including extra bands, an average selling price of $400, $650, and $4200 for the Apple Watch Sport, stainless, and Edition models respectively, and also conservative.
