'Large explosion' reported at Exxon Mobil refinery in Torrance

Fire and police officials say a "large explosion" occurred this morning at the Exxon Mobil refinery in Torrance.

Torrance police announced a “second-alarm fire explosion.” Police and firefighters were on the scene, and Del Amo Boulevard has been closed between Maple Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard.
