Showoffs Welcome!

SitePoint
The SitePoint JavaScript Newsletter
Adam Roberts here, filling in. Unfortunately, our enormously talented JavaScript editor Colin Ihrig had to step down recently. We’ll miss him! We’re working on locating a new JavaScript editor soon (if that's you — reply and we'll have a chat!). But until then, you’ve got me for the newsletter portion of the job.

Aside from the great range of content in today’s newsletter, one thing I’d like to highlight is our newly-opened Showcasecategory. This is a section of the forums where we invite you all to show off stuff you’ve built — websites, libraries, designs. If it’s cool, and not obviously commercial, we’d love to see it!

When I’m not filling in on other people’s newsletters, I also put together our daily email Versioning. Pretty much every day we feature a bunch of awesome JavaScript libraries from talented devs like yourselves, so I figured Showcase would probably appeal to ya’ll the most!

Anyway, on to this week’s newsletter, which is filled with great stuff. We have a guide to building a simple image editor with CSS filters and a bit of jQuery, a look at building AngularJS apps with ECMAScript 6, an intro to building mobile apps with Meteor, and more!

Enjoy, and I look forward to seeing what incredible internet things you come up with in Showcase!
