In 2010, I traveled to China to study with Dr. Heiner Fruehauf and Chinese masters Liu Lihong, Wang Qingyu and Liu Yousheng. During my time in China, Master Liu Yousheng taught me about the Wang Fengyi system of healing. Wang Fengyi, born in 1864, is celebrated in China as the peasant saint who brought about this system of 'virtue healing' that aims to treat disease by healing the inner nature. Ask Dr. MaoQ: I have had blood tests that reveal high levels of LDL(134) and low levels of HDL(36). My doctor wants me to take Vytorin and a niacin-based pill. Can you advise me a way to stop taking the drugs?
A: I suggest you discuss your concerns with your physician; he has reasons for prescribing the medication. Niacin supplementation in general is a natural way of helping lower cholesterol.
