Mars and Venus Closest Since 2008
Venus and Mars in conjunction below moon tonight 
Closest conjunction of Venus and Mars since 2008. They won’t be this close again until 2017. Look west after sunset!
We received hundreds of photos of the planets Venus and Mars, and the waxing moon, last night.  They were beautiful after sunset!  Here are a few of our favorites.
Filmmakers look to world's loneliest whale 
The whale sings in a sound frequency that is so unusual, no other whales will respond. Filmmakers Josh Zeman and Adrian Grenier want to find it, and make a film about it.
Hare and Dove at Orion's feet 
Two meek animals seem to cower at the feet of the constellation Orion the Hunter. They are Lepus the Hare and Columba the Dove.
