Ferguson, Mo., police chief is resigning

Embattled Ferguson, Mo., Police Chief Thomas Jackson announced today he is resigning, seven months after one of his officers killed an unarmed black 18-year-old and set off months of unrest, and one week after federal investigators accused his department of harassing and racially profiling the town's predominantly black residents.
