Crowdfunding for All in Colorado
CTA works with lawmakers to bring investing opportunities to everyone
If you're familiar with Kickstarter, then you're familiar with crowdfunding. As it currently exists in most states, startups can use crowdfunding to raise capital and may offer goods or services in exchange, but cannot offer equity in the startup or other corporate securities.

In Colorado, we're working to join a small handful of states where unaccredited investors can purchase securities from businesses in relatively small dollar amounts through open exchanges. Instead of allowing only those who have tremendous liquid assets to decide which businesses are worth investing in, it allows almost anyone to help create the next great Colorado business.
