Saturday is Pi Day and this year it's a once in a lifetime celebration. Pi is equal to 3.141592653. Not only will the month and date line up, but so will the year and time! The entire NBCUniversal family is celebrating this exciting day. Our colleagues at NBC Learn have created a collection of free videos featuring math content and our Parent Toolkit website has 6 ways that parents can bring this mathematical constant to life for their kids. Join the conversation on social media by using #piNBCU.
Pi Day, Fun Ways to Celebrate This Year
If you decide to indulge in a little pie for Pi Day, our new Parent Toolkit videos can help you get your eating habits back in line. Confused about serving sizes? We've simplified them with our latest original video.
Also, don't miss a minute of action from the Teaching & Learning conference in DC. We will be live streaming the entire event on both ParentToolkit.com andNBCLearn.com. Can't watch the live stream? No worries! We will be live tweeting the event as well.
