20 Communities Selected for Brownfield Grants to Revitalize Communities and Strengthen Local Economies

Brownfields ariel view
EPA recently awarded the third round of Brownfields Area-Wide Planning (AWP) grants to 20 communities across 16 states. The AWP grants help revitalize communities and strengthen local economies through the cleanup and reuse of Brownfields sites. By revitalizing the area, community leaders, local governments, and businesses are able to develop a shared plan to create successful and sustained community improvements.
This locally-driven approach advances health, equity, and livable communities through the creation of jobs, recreation, housing, and an increased tax base. Learn more about the Brownfields AWP program and the newly selected recipients herehttp://go.usa.gov/3aPdF
