TRB Webinar: Debt Finance Practices for Surface Transportation: Current Issues and Research Needs 02/06/2015 12:32 PM EST TRB will conduct a webinar on April 2, 2015, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm ET that will explore a variety of policy issues related to the issuance and management of debt for surface transportation projects. The extent to which debt financing is used by states for transportation projects is being considered by policy makers and the private sector. Decision makers must weigh pay-as-you-go financing versus debt financing within the framework of determining the most appropriate public policy. The research and guidance issued on debt issuance for surface transportation projects has been limited. This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Revenue and Finance. Participants must register in advance of the webinar, and there is a fee for non-TRB Sponsor or non-TRB Sustaining Affiliate employees. A certificate for two Professional Development Hours (PDHs) will be provided to attendees who register and attend the webinar as an individual. This webinar is pending approval by the American Institute of Certified Planners for two Certification Maintenance Credits.
