If you’re bored to tears with the same old treadmill warm-up, skip it. Not the warm-up, just the boring part. Try a couple dynamic warm-ups. Dynamic warm-ups mimic the actual movements you’re going to do in your workout, so they’re not only more fun but also more effective.
For example, if you’re about to go for a run, dynamic warm-ups may include skipping or bounding. If you’re about to strength train, a dynamic warm-up targets the specific muscles you’ll be using.
