Joey Logano wins Daytona 500 Los Angeles Times | February 22, 2015 | 1:54 PM Joey Logano won the Daytona 500 today, edging out Kevin Harvick and Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the biggest race of the NASCAR season. It was Logano’s ninth Sprint Cup Series win. The race finished under caution after a big crash on the final lap. Pole-sitter Jeff Gordon, who announced before the season that he would retire as a full-time driver at the end of the year, finished outside the top 10. Tony Stewart fell out of contention after being involved in a five-car crash early in the 203-lap race at Daytona International Speedway.
