A Gold Coast startup has smashed its crowdfunding target, managing to raise more than $100,000 in 15 days for what it hopes will be the world’s first affordable electric bike.

A tech-enabled cycling jacket designed to increase the road safety of cyclists was the winner at this year’s Melbourne Battlehack.

Investor social network Scutify wants to become the go-to platform for financial news and analysis.

Smartphone users around the world send millions of texts, emails and pictures to one another each and every day – but now they have the opportunity to send and receive what some consider the greatest gift of all: laughter.
