The Sonoma Smart-Eating Strategy

Other diets ask you to do the impossible — cut out grains completely, limit yourself to a list of unappealing foods, or count calories and calculate points for the rest of your life. The New Sonoma Diet offers a totally different strategy: Eat a wide variety of delicious foods — including grains — without counting a single point. You'll never feel deprived. Here's what one Sonoma Diet Online member has to say about her experience:
"I'm loving the diet! I am on day 9 and I can't believe I made it this far! I had a couple of days early on where I had a bad headache. Everyone said that was from sugar withdrawal. I was hungry between meals, too, until I started eating veggies between meals and increased my water consumption (thanks to some great suggestions from the others online). I also ate my snack a little at a time throughout the day, rather than all at once like I was doing before.
I am finding this so doable. All the foods I have tried so far are so delicious! But more importantly, I feel so much better and I have so much more energy." — LaDela

Connie's Tip of the Day

Learn to Love Water

Did you know that most people don't drink nearly as much water as they should? In fact, if you're feeling thirsty, that means that you're already dehydrated. Drinking eight glasses a day will help keep your body functioning properly. For variety, try jazzing up a glass of water with a splash of lemon juice. An added benefit: You'll also feel less hungry!
