PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 18, 2014)

An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter from the Chargers of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 14 hovers over Range Support Craft (RSC) 1 in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego. The HSC-14 and the Raptors of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 71 are conducting helicopter visit, board, search, and seizure training. SASEBO, Japan (Feb. 19, 2015)

Sailors man the rails as the forward deployed San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) arrives in Sasebo, Japan. Green Bay is replacing the decommissioned Austin-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Denver (LPD 9), previously forward-deployed to Sasebo, and will enhance amphibious presence in the U.S. 7th Fleet as part of the U.S. Navy's long-range plan to send the most advanced and capable units to the Asia-Pacific region.
