BREAKING NEWS: Economy Expands as Energy Pressures Weigh on Some Districts

In its anecdotal Beige Book report, the Federal Reserve said the economy continued to expand at a modest to moderate pace in early January through mid-February. The central bank noted oil and natural gas drilling declined in four districts as the number of rigs sharply declined. The Fed also outlined worsened agricultural conditions across its twelve districts due to an array of factors.
