Olga Kimaiyo wins L.A. Marathon women's race

Olga Kimaiyo of Kenya won the 30th L.A. Marathon today by pulling away from Natalya Puchkova of Russia in the 23rd mile. It was the first marathon victory for Kimaiyo, who broke away from a lead pack with Puchkova in the 20th mile of the race, which began at Dodger Stadium and finished oceanside in Santa Monica.
