At All Costs

General web

What Does My Site Cost? [whatdoesmysitecost] is a site that’ll tell you how much your site would cost to access on various mobile networks around the world.
Hexagen [github/aliceatlas] brings true coroutines to Swift.
Google Cloud Storage Nearline [googlecloudplatform.blogspot] is a new service that keeps stores your data in a mixture of online and offline places for dirt cheap.

Why So Sirius?

News/business

“Web developer” Sir Tim Berners-Lee jumped on Reddit’s AMA subreddit to answer questions [reddit], covering everything from memes to net neutrality (he’s a fan of both). (Thanks Ophelie!)
Google’s releasing a new version of its Chromebook Pixel [arstechnica], and the laptop is just just as pretty and cool and kind of pointless as the last one. It has double the USB type C ports as the new Macbook, so that’s handy.
WorkLife [worklife] is an app that helps make every meeting run smoothly and be memorable/non-pointless (Cheers Jude!).

Followback

Off-topic

Here’s a cool tool for reversing gifs [gifmaker].
SOLOSHOT [shop.soloshot] is a camera that’ll follow the action without supervision. Aimed at sportspeople and prison wardens, presumably. (Thanks Alex!)

Those are our links for today, we'll be back for the last Versioning of the week tomorrow. Until then, we'll be using the Doppler effect to write some clever subject lines, just as Doppler would've wanted.
