MAYPORT, Fla. (March 9, 2015)

Sailors aboard the guide-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99) man the rails as the ship departs homeport at Naval Station Mayport to support the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group. While deployed, they will serve in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
