HP bringing augmented reality, 3D printing features to tablets, laptops

Hewlett-Packard has experimented with augmented reality and 3D image manipulation in recent products, and it intends to bring some of those technologies to tablets and laptops for a more interactive computing experience. The PC maker says its mobile devices will let users play with 3D images that can then be created in a 3D printer.

Microsoft updates Outlook for Mac preview tease

Obama promises to promote Net neutrality, broadband

U.S. President Barack Obama promised to push for Net neutrality rules and for more transparency in the government's surveillance programs during his State of the Union address late Tuesday. In a speech largely focused on the U.S. economy and aiding the middle class, Obama also promised to push for the deployment of next generation broadband networks, as he outlined in a preview to the State of the Union a week ago.
