Boston Bombing Jury Selection Begins 
The first of 3,000 potential jurors began filling out questionnaires today for the trial of accused Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who could face the death penalty if convicted. He sat in the courtroom, just two miles from where the city’s marathon ended in destruction two years ago. As the lengthy trial process begins, many survivors of that day just “want it to be over and done with.”

A Young Survivor’s Journey 
Today, Sailor Watkins’ classmates left notes on her empty desk as the 7-year-old recovers with relatives. She survived the weekend plane crash in Kentucky that killed her immediate family and walked through the dark to find help. “It was sickening to think of how scared she must have been,” said one of the first people on the scene where the plane clipped trees as it crashed and landed upside down.
