Those in the Boston area are racing to get theirs cleared before this weekend’s blizzard piles on. But it’s a risky process. “Under the snow, there's a sheet of ice,” an expert said. Amid growing pressure, the FBI will consider if the triple murder in Chapel Hill was a hate crime. Three young Muslims were shot in the head and President Obama called the attack "brutal and outrageous.” While police have not found evidence to support a hate crime, legal experts said the accused shooter’s disdain for all religions could make it one.

Escape from ISIS 
"All the girls were screaming and crying because they didn't [want] to go with them,” said one Iraqi girl, who was sold into marriage after ISIS overran her village. The militants rounded up hundreds of women and girls, as young as eight. She and another young woman who managed to escape spoke with NBC’s Richard Engel. One was so badly traumatized that only now, three months later, is she able to speak.
